About Us:
Dusk-II-Dawn Child Care Center is a licensed and nurturing early childhood program serving families in a warm, creative, and learning-rich environment. We’re committed to supporting toddlers (2-3), and preschoolers (ages 4-5) through intentional play, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and genuine care. We’re currently seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Preschool and Toddler Teachers to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support the developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Foster positive social-emotional development through patience, structure, and redirection
• Communicate effectively with families about children’s progress, routines, and any concerns
• Observe and document children's development and milestones
• Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to support daily routines and transitions
• Adhere to all state licensing guidelines and Dusk-II-Dawn’s policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• 6 months of experience in a licensed child care setting preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Must pass a background check and TB screening
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children

Pay: $14.97 - $15.81 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
