Looking for a Housekeeper to join our team!
As a Housekeeper at Dust and Shine LLC, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our elderly residents. This includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas at a retirement community. Your duties will encompass a range of cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Rooms: Clean and sanitize rooms ensuring all living spaces are tidy and presentable.
Bathroom Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
Floor Cleaning: Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of floors in rooms and common areas.
Kitchen Cleaning: Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and countertops, ensuring they are free from dirt and grime.
Linen and Bedding: Change and make beds, replace towels and linens, as needed.
Trash Disposal: Empty and dispose of trash in a hygienic manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with elderly residents and communicate courteously.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Must be fluent in English.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
