Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our company, ensuring that all laundry items are properly laundered, dried, and presented to the highest standards. This position is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, particularly in the Airbnb environment where cleanliness is paramount.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and other items.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Collaborate with me to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating laundry equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred, especially in a hotel/rental setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Must be able to adhere to hygiene standards and maintain cleanliness in all aspects of the job.
• Must be on time for work
• Must have a vehicle that is clean and capable of transporting linens from our storage location to the laundry facility. Paid drive time.

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
