Dusty Robotics is a Series B-stage construction robotics company with a successful product on the market. The 60 person team mostly located in the Bay Area supports a fleet of robots that is deployed on construction sites across North America to increase quality and predictability of building projects. Dusty has raised over $69M from top-tier venture capital firms including Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Canaan, NextGen Venture Partners, and Root Ventures. Our customers include some of the largest names in the construction industry, including DPR, JE Dunn, and Skanska.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our company and own the FP&A function. In this senior level position, you will collaborate closely with functional leaders to provide strategic analytic support in financial planning and lead the development of robust financial models, forecasts, and reports. You will help provide insight into financial opportunities to drive and optimize revenue growth and key cost decisions.
This role is based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. This position requires 4 days a week onsite in our Mountain View office.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain financial and revenue models
- Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, high-quality, and insightful financial data to department leads and the executive team
- Develop and rigorously test financial models for product offerings, assisting the business in making critical decisions
- Prepare comprehensive current and forecasted revenue and cost projections and lead variance analysis meetings
- Collaborate effectively with the accounting to ensure alignment of financial data
- Support company fundraising efforts
- Respond to ad-hoc modeling requests from various business units
Requirements
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar discipline; MBA preferred
- 8 years experience, with 2 years at technology company at a senior level
- Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for
- business forecasting, tracking KPIs, variance analysis, and problem-solving through data across the business
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models
- An ability to dive down into the weeds of the numbers with high attention to detail, and to take a step back and see the big picture
- Adaptable approach to working in a startup environment
- Experience in investment banking is a plus
- Excellent communicator and collaborator to present financials and partner with leaders across the organization
