Position Overview:
The Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for the overall function, maintenance, and safety of all facilities within our geographical region maintaining building regulatory compliance. This position will also require the supervision and support of direct reports, vendors, contractors, etc. This includes following all Dutch Bros policies, procedures, and specific directions from the Director of Corporate Facilities. In addition, the Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for understanding that following indicated procedures and instructions ensure facility quality, safety, and time efficiency.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Direct and Support direct reports and oversee vendors, contractors, subcontractors, etc.
- Direct Facilities Tech 1 with projects providing guidance and support for growth and development. •
- Oversee vendors, contractors, subcontractors, etc. in work required for the building, site, and infrastructure maintenance, repair, and alterations
Communicate with the Director of Corporate Facilities, assist with building emergencies on a 24 hour basis, and perform additional maintenance duties, as assigned:
- Complete all required reporting forms, accurately document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to leadership
- Provide justification, in writing, to the Director of Corporate Facilities of any necessary overtime
- Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the FM.
- Assists with building emergencies and immediately responds to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis
Safely operate equipment and inspect building for needed repairs:
- Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and report needed repairs, and comprise a strategic plan to remedy issues
- Safely operate power equipment, tools, ladders, boom, scissor, and forklifts with knowledge of equipment and safety requirements
Job Qualifications:
- BA/BS in related field and 3 years in facility maintenance required or 7 years in facility maintenance years working experience in facility maintenance and/or construction industry, carpenter, millwright, foreman or superintendent and a thorough understanding of most building aspects including but not limited to masonry, roofing & gutter systems, flooring, doors & hardware, landscaping, wall systems, demolition, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry within OASH compliance and the ability to identify when a licensed professional is needed.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, engineering, manufacture specifications and diagrams.
- Skilled at troubleshooting issues and resolve them in a safe and timely manner.
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including but not limited to strenuous work in inclement weather and conditions for long periods of time.
- Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment, as necessary and required.
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Ability to travel to various work-site locations as directed by Facilities Manager
- This position requires driving, when necessary and must have a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:
- In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
- Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
- Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
- Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
- Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
- Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
- Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.

- Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
Compensation:
$62,943.73 - DOE
