A dental assistant is the right (and sometimes left) hand of the Dentist, an office cannot run smoothly without one! That is why we are looking to add a friendly and professional dental assistant to our team.

Hours:
Monday 11 AM–8 PM
Tuesday 7 AM–5:30 PM
Wednesday Closed
Thursday 8 AM–5:30 PM
Friday 7 AM–5:30 PM

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma
- Dental Assisting education
- Current license/certifications
- Xray Certification required
- Dental Assisting experience required
- Front office experience is a plus
Requirements & Contributions to the team:
- Prepare patients, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures.
- Dental diagnostic x-rays.
- Record treatment information in patient records.
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
- Assist dentists in management of medical or dental emergencies.
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
- Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
- Clean and polish removable appliances.
- Clean teeth, using dental instruments.
- Apply protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
- Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions
- Other duties related to the dental assistant
- Front Office duties are a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
