Seeking a Systems Administrator SME to support the critical infrastructure of a large complex government division with a mission to equip law enforcement, national security, and intelligence community partners with criminal justice information. The Systems Administrator SME will monitor systems performance, provide in-depth analysis, resolve systems issues, and provide expert administrator support across operating systems.

Seeking a Systems Administrator SME to support the critical infrastructure of a large complex government division with a mission to equip law enforcement, national security, and intelligence community partners with criminal justice information. The Systems Administrator SME will monitor systems performance, provide in-depth analysis, resolve systems issues, and provide expert administrator support across operating systems.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues that may require in-depth analysis and creative solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new system architectures, including server configurations, network topology, and data storage solutions.
- Monitor system performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks to optimize system efficiency and uptime.
- Implement robust security measures, manage user access controls, and stay updated on emerging cyber threats.
- Forecast future system needs and planning for hardware upgrades or infrastructure scaling to accommodate growth.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other system administrators on best practices and new technologies.
- Current Top-Secret clearance required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with enterprise network administration tools.
- Possess extensive understanding of specific operating systems, hardware, network protocols, security measures, and cloud technologies relevant to their organization.
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems, including system configuration, shell scripting, and package management
- Advanced expertise in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related technologies.
- Deep understanding of AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including cloud security and resource management
- Expertise in network infrastructure, routing protocols, firewalls, and network security
- Agile experience using Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and SAFe.
