Description
The Program Manager is the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Government. This role organizes, directs, and manages all aspects of contract operational support functions. These functions involve multiple complex and interrelated project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations and providing a strong working relationship with all customer organization levels.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring compliance with program and project schedule costs and contractual obligations
- Guides direct reports and the contractor program support staff for all technical and administrative matters
- Manage subcontractors
- Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show the progress of project updates to stakeholders, including senior customer leadership
- Supports Enterprise Applications intake process by providing a Rough Order of Magnitude for potential shared service projects
- Monitors the progress of the program and projects, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Fosters a collaborative work environment and promotes effective communication within the customer and contractor team
