JOB PURPOSE
Field Merchandising Specialist (Core Channel) will assist the Territory Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers and the Director of Core Channel Sales with the following:
- In store program executions as designed
- Store resets / initial sets

In Store Marketing:
- Shelf tags
- Shelf strips
- Signage
- Shelf updates
- Banners
- Planograms
- End Cap Display Execution
The above listed primary services will be in coordination with planned Core Channel Sales and Marketing efforts to support and grow sales and in outlet execution. The primary area of concentration is within the Mid-Atlantic zone. Individuals in this role will be responsible for coordination and executing on the activities listed above with all other departments as necessary. This position will also require strong communication, relationship building and complete understanding of the Core Customer base and associated attributes.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute planograms as necessary for store resets / new store setups
- Coordinate and arrange resets between TSRs and store contacts.
- Make all arrangements of needed materials and supplies for resets / new store setups
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM to record all activities
- Travel as needed (60% of the time).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.
- College degree preferred or 3 or more years of retail experience required
- This role requires a strong knowledge of the products in the bulk food category and the ability to utilize customer data and BI information to make appropriate customer recommendations.
- An understanding of retail bulk merchandising/marketing. is essential.
- Experience with the demands and expectations of larger retail customer
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365
- Ability to travel
- Disciplined and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects while balancing priorities (time management)
