Subway Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our patrons. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, including proper handling of food items.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing receipts to customers.
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Perform bussing duties as needed to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Experience in the food service industry, preferably in sandwich preparation or similar roles.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food preparation is essential.

Pay: $12.32 - $13.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
