Second Shift - 3 / 12 Hour Days (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday)
Starting rate of $20.00 25.00/hr. plus shift differential
JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for moving transportation equipment around the facility in accordance with the loading, maintenance, and washing schedules.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the Yard Truck in a safe manner following all Dutch Valley rules.
- Stage empty trailers in their assigned dock doors in accordance with the loading schedule.
- Provide the garage with any equipment (trailer and/or tractor) requested for maintenance in a timely manner.
- Provide equipment for the wash bay in accordance with the washing schedule.
- Communicate using a cellphone with loaders, receivers, washers, and garage personnel.
- Assist with the inspection of all equipment, reporting any damage found.
- Assist with loading, wrapping, and additional warehouse duties.
- If there is an urgent need, could be asked to run a delivery route.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Class A CDL license a plus
- Must have at least one year of driving experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- General maintenance knowledge is a plus
- Attention to detail is a must
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Safety sensitive position
