Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take them to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Make sure that guests are seated where they are most comfortable
- Answer incoming calls
- Take orders for carry-out and forward them to the kitchen, packaging when done
- Ensure shelves remain freshly stocked and organized, rotating product as needed
- Regularly inspect the bakery retail area for neatness and cleanliness, picking up litter as needed
Your Qualifications
- Positive personality
- Genuinely warm and friendly person
- Passion for serving others
- Able to communicate fluently, read and comprehend simple instructions, and write simple correspondence in English.
- Able to learn software programs designed for processing orders and creating guest checks as required
- This position requires being on your feet for extended periods of time
- Frequently lift and/or move 10 to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Schedule
- No Sunday hours
- Part-time - approximately 30 hours per week
- Work Monday through Saturday. May work more hours around holidays
- Able to be flexible
- Some evenings, Saturdays, and holidays
- On-the-job training provided
