Summary:

Dutchess Community College seeks a talented Assistant Men's Baseball Coach to join the growing athletic department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Assistant Men's Baseball Coach is responsible for helping with the organization, administration, and coaching of the Men's Baseball program, including supervising staff and student-athletes.

Duties:

• Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching "sport."
• Recruit sufficiently qualified student-athletes.
• Effectively execute fundraising activities, including camps and clinics to help meet teams' financial goals.
• Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and provide support.
• Scout and prepare team for competition.
• Comply with College, NJCAA, Region 15, and Mid-Hudson Conference rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate baseball program.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid NY Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree
• At least two years of baseball coaching experience at the high school level or at least two years of baseball coaching at the collegiate level.

Additional Information:
Positions in the Athletics Department are employees of the Dutchess Community College Association.

This position is based on a 12 month employment agreement at $1,000 - $3,000 per season.
