Days/Hours - Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:15pm
Weatherization Crew Member
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Install air-sealing materials to control infiltration using proper applications and techniques.
· Perform all measures requiring carpentry skills on housing units as assigned.
· Perform interim and post blower door tests to measure infiltration rates. Use blower door to direct air sealing measures.
· Properly use and maintain Weatherization program tools and equipment.
· Participate in training activities to stay current in procedures and techniques.
· Comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to Weatherization safety rules and procedures.
· Perform practices and procedures to ensure worker, co-worker, and client health and safety.
· Maintain confidentiality of all client and agency information.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education, and/or Work Experience Requirements:
It is essential to have an outgoing and friendly personality with a “can-do,” “will-do” outlook. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Some experience in the construction field is a plus. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification as a Building Analyst I within one year. Must be physically able to bend, lift 50 lbs., crawl, climb ladders and use power and hand tools. Candidate may be exposed to heat, cold, and various other conditions in the field.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with agency policies.
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with agency policies.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
