Job Description
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Lake Wales, FL.
This position will provide HR support to our manufacturing facility in areas such as recruitment, workers' compensation, time and attendance, and employee relations.
The successful candidate will work closely with our corporate HR team and local plant leaders to ensure seamless operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain current knowledge of HR developments and best practices.
- Create and maintain HR metrics, reports, and documents as needed.
- Support the maintenance of personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related requirements.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including posting required notifications and maintaining employee files.
- Provide guidance on policy administration and interpretation to employees and leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organization design efforts.
- Handle confidential personnel matters discreetly and sensitively.
- Support job description updates and maintenance.
- Conduct job interviews and prepare new hire orientations.
- Evaluate and process new hire documentation, including USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Manage the annual performance review process.
- Develop staff development, succession planning, and talent management strategies with the Plant Manager.
- Administer benefits meetings for open enrollment and new hires.
- Manage terminations and facilitate exit interview processes.
