What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event and Sales Assistant position at Dutchman Hospitality Group?
Job Summary : Assists Group Sales and Front Desk with reservations and occupancy of the conference center, and Inn. Represents Company in a positive manner, adhering to standards Dutchman Hospitality Group upholds in speech, appearance and conduct.
Essential Duties :
- Conveys comprehensive knowledge of Inn, company and area as a whole.
- Assists with motor coach tours and other groups; may include greeting groups arriving and departing.
- Assists with servicing existing and new accounts to ensure repeat business.
- Assists with tours of the Inn facilities and accommodations for potential clients.
- Assists with set up, tear down and additional needs in conference center.
- Assists with hosting groups and events in accordance with needs.
- Performs "baseline maintenance" of conference center. Such as preparing the rooms for the next event, replenishing supplies and handling technical / AV needs.
- Performs the Front Desk Associate role, providing front desk support as needed.
- Maintains professional environment in dialogue and interactions with associates.
- Evinces clean, professional appearance; conforms to administered dress code.
- Undertakes any additional duties as assigned by the Group Sales Coordinator or General Manager.
