What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVB), other community organizations and local business to promote tourism and enhance the visitor experience
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement while ensuring consistent brand messaging
- Engage with followers on social medial platforms and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Capture and edit high-quality photographs and videos that align with our brand voice and goals
- Plan and coordinate community events and outreach initiatives to foster positive community relations
- Order and distribute marketing rack cards to our campus locations, CVBs, and other suitable locations
- Manage email contact list
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Campus Director
Skills you’ll bring along
- Associate's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or sales preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Strong understanding of current marketing concepts and best practices
- Excellent photography, videography, and photo/video editing skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Job Type
- Full time M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm
- This is an onsite position in Middlebury, IN (no remote work)
