What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Coordinator position at Dutchman Hospitality Group?
Dutchman Hospitality Group, Inc (DHG) , is seeking an energetic and organized PR Coordinator to join our marketing team and manage our written content creation, public relations and community communications efforts. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our company's brand and reputation. This position will report to the Director of Marketing.

What you’ll be doing
Write press releases, articles, guides, ads, blogs, and other marketing materials
Review and proofread marketing materials for proper verbiage, grammar, and spelling
Submit press releases, communicate with media outlets and influencers, monitor media coverage and report on performance
Create and implement PR strategies, assist with planning special events, and provide public speaking, as needed
Attend and contribute to business associations' meetings, local events, and community sales calls and outreach
Maintain and update community event calendars
Assist with other various marketing initiatives and projects.
Skills you’ll bring along
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Candidates will be asked to send writing samples
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proven experience in public relations or a similar role
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Creative, detail-oriented, and a team player
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
2-4 years' experience in written content development and / or public relations
Familiarity with public relations software and media monitoring tools preferred
Job Type
Full time M-F 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
This is an onsite position in Walnut Creek, OH (no remote work)
