About Shift Coordinator
DutchX is looking for a UCC Coordinator (Urban Consolidation Centre Coordinator) to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing the daily operations of our micro hub facilities, ensuring that the mid-mile and last-mile logistics run smoothly. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining operational success and high customer satisfaction.
Here is a sampling of some of the responsibilities:
- Liaison Between Delivery Associates and Customers: Serve as the main point of contact for delivery associates, and internal teams, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Oversee Micro Hub Operations: Manage day-to-day operations within the micro hub, including overseeing the parcel sorting process, route assignment, and dispatching for delivery associates.
- Monitor Inventory and Stock Levels: Track inventory as it moves through the micro hub, ensuring accurate and timely recording of parcels, including inbound and outbound tracking.
- Route Optimization: Oversee and optimize delivery routes, working closely with the company’s identified platform to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations for last-mile associates.
- Staff Management and Headcount Tracking: Maintain an accurate daily headcount of delivery associates and micro hub staff, ensuring adequate workforce coverage for each delivery window.
- Task Prioritization and Organization: Coordinate the dispatching of parcels and deliveries, ensuring efficient sorting and timely departures while maintaining a focus on accuracy and operational success.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse and facility safety protocols are followed, promoting a safe working environment within the micro hub.
- Resolve Operational Issues: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues as they arise, including delivery exceptions, inventory discrepancies, and other operational challenges.
- Maintain Accurate Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly reports on inventory, delivery associate performance, and route completion status.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidates
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to changes in logistics and delivery demands.
- Has excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and customers.
- Prior Dispatching Experience is required, with experience in warehouse or logistics management preferred.
- Undergraduate Degree (required)
- High comfort level with computer systems, including Word, Excel, and route optimization software.
- Familiarity with tracking apps required and delivery management platforms preferred
