What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving position at Dutt and Wagner?
Dutt and Wagner of Virginia, Inc has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Shipper/Receiver at our facility located in Abingdon, VA.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and Staging of orders
- Inspection of all trucks before loading to include temperature settings before and during loading
- Loading all trucks according to FIFO plan
- Supervise pallet jacks
- Maintain order in cooler
- Receive all packaging supplies, chemical, etc.
- Unload all trucks while inspecting materials, baskets, and packaging supplies meet safety, quality, and customer expectations
- Maintain shipping/receiving log
- Assist other departmental managers as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role/environment/industry preferred.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
