Showcase has an immediate opening for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Design Salesperson. Showcase offers a full selection of products including cabinetry, countertops, plumbing & lighting on display in their Showroom in Downtown Hastings. Showcase is a division of Dutton-Lainson Company, a leading manufacturing, printing and wholesale company in the Midwest.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service by addressing initial inquiries during consultations and scheduling future appointments with designers.
- Guide customers through the showroom, assisting them with initial product and material selections while ensuring designers can focus on their work.
- Create and provide customer quotes using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Design and render custom cabinet plans using 20/20 Design Software.
- Quote and Sell Stock Cabinets, Countertops and other stock items in the Showroom.
Skill set needed:
- Passion for design and creating beautiful spaces with Cabinetry & Countertops.
- Strong space planning skills for Kitchen & Bath layouts.
- Keen eye for color to facilitate and coordinate material selection.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word / PowerPoint / Excel.
- Knowledge of 20/20 Design Software is a plus, not a requirement.
- Familiarity with cabinetry and countertop materials to effectively communicate with customers.
- Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Quick to learn new computer programs and design software.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
