The quality assurance (QA) testing technician evaluates products to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Test products: QA testers run manual and automated tests to find issues in products
- Document issues: QA testers record their findings and document the progress of their tests
- Communicate with developers: QA testers share their findings with engineers and management to help improve the product
- Ensure quality: QA testers make sure products meet the quality standards set by the development team and end users.
- Improve the development process: QA testers help identify and fix issues early in the development process.
