Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Irrigation Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of underground sprinkler systems, as well as leading a team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled monthly irrigation inspections, noting deficiencies and making approved repairs as needed.
- Oversee the installation of new irrigation systems and upgrades to existing systems.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and perform system retrofits.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
- Complete paperwork in an orderly and timely manner.
- Communicate with managers daily before and after job completion.
- Work independently and as part of a team, as required.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4 years of experience in irrigation, with experience as an irrigation technician preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions if safe.
- Must possess 2 forms of ID.
