Position Overview:
Duvall Catering & Events is seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Servers to join our team. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service during events, ensuring guests have an outstanding experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications.
- Clean and organize event spaces before and after each event.
Guest Service:
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate their needs.
Food & Beverage Handling:
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of food and beverages.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other event staff and management to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering, banquet service, or hospitality preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years or older.
