What are the responsibilities and job description for the Duxbury High School After-Hours Entrance Monitors position at Duxbury High School?
The primary responsibility of the Duxbury High School After-Hours Entrance Monitor is to maintain the safety and security of the Duxbury Middle School/Duxbury High School Complex from 3:30 - 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday. This is a part-time position.
- Monitor the front door and manage access after school hours
- Provide building access to Duxbury students for athletics, music, or other co-curricular programs
- Ensure that visitors are expected and have made appropriate arrangements for building use
- Welcome visitors, sign in, and direct them to their destination within the building
- Report any unusual visitors or safety concerns to building administration or Duxbury Police as appropriate
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the secretary and principal/assistant principal or their designee
Payscale: Pay range $16.44-$20.98 based on experience.
Qualifications
- Minimal Qualifications: High School Diploma, previous security experience preferred
- Successful completion of a CORI/SORI check and Fingerprint Check
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
