What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grade 7 Mathematics Teacher - LTS position at Duxbury Middle School?
Duxbury Middle School is seeking a highly qualified certified Math teacher to fill a leave of absence beginning on or about March 4, 2025 through May 30, 2025. The course load includes 5 sections of 7th grade mathematics of which sections at honors level.
Requirements:
- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Mathematics (5-8)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university
- Experience with Illustrative Mathematics Program preferred
- Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
