Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals who share our passion for teaching and caring for young children. As a substitute teacher at Duxbury Public Schools, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality educational experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for and educate young children between the ages of birth to five on a flexible substitute basis
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships and a sense of community
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and support
Qualifications:
- Experience working with infant, toddler, and preschool children (preferred)
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- MA EEC Teacher, Lead Teacher, or Director Certification (preferred)
Requirements:
- Current authorization to work in the United States
