Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic part-time / contract copywriter to work on-site in our busy Bend, Oregon office. Someone who thrives on bringing creative solutions to our client’s business needs through compelling and thoughtful storytelling across digital, social, web, and traditional media landscapes.
The copywriter will work alongside and under the direction of the Creative Director to collaborate with agency account and creative teams, execute and present their work to clients.
With a primary focus to create and craft engaging advertising, the copywriter will be responsible for the following :
- Crafting copy that aligns with each individual client’s brand voice and guidelines is critical
- Ability to understand, articulate and create copy in alignment with creative briefs
- Willingness to collaborate with the creative department to develop advertising campaign concepts
- Comfortable with presenting ideas and working under deadlines
- Ability to iterate quickly and effectively in response to feedback
- Edit and rework copy based on feedback from the Creative Director and account manager
- Write conversion-driving content : CTAs, headlines, subheads, Meta Post copy
- Write concise, engaging content using best practices for the given channel / medium
- Experience and comfort with both digital and printed materials, the process and nuances between the channels
- Create quality, error-free, on-time copy
- Experience with destination / tourism is a bonus
