Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented high school student looking to gain exposure to the Engineering field? We're seeking a highly motivated engineering intern to join our team and play a crucial role in organizing and optimizing our vast parts library. Under the Switchgear Engineer’s supervision, the ideal candidate will be eager to learn the fundamentals on how our custom products are manufactured here at DVM. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. DVM retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.
- Organize parts library used by engineering/production teams
- Learn to use CAD software and read schematics and drawings.
- Assist in developing processes to improve quality and efficiency of the documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the engineers.

Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in high school with an interest in the Engineering field.
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
Physical Requirements:
- The work environment is a typical office environment, with quiet to moderate noise level, and traditional lighting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
- Must be able to travel between DVM locations as needed.
