Dynamic Visual Solutions Group (DVS Group), is a leading US-based manufacturer and provider of large-scale LED Video Wall Displays and intelligent stage lighting products, serving a wide range of entertainment and commercial AV market applications throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
The DVS Group is seeking an experienced LED Technician to join its growing operations teams. The LED Technician will play a pivotal role to the service and operations department by executing daily diagnostic, and testing repairs for LED video products for customer RMAs and inbound inventory as part of QC processes.
Primary Responsibilities :
Perform testing, diagnostics, and repairs for customer RMA’s including LED Pixel solder repairs, power supply, and circuit board repairs.
Assist warehouse team with receiving and QC of inbound inventory.
Maintain inventory of parts for repairs and customer requests.
Assist with fulfillment of customer orders and parts requests.
Assist with Technical Support with end-user remote hardware / software troubleshooting.
Travel to client sites for on-site diagnostics and repairs of complex issues.
Secondary Responsibilities :
Support installations / deployments for tradeshows and company-sponsored events.
Collaborate with internal teams for product management, technical documentation, and innovation roadmap.
Other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Experience :
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of experience with LED Video Displays and / or Live Event Production
Minimum 1 year of soldering experience
Proficiency in electronics repairs with a general understanding of circuitry.
General knowledge of High / Low-Voltage Power & Networking
Ability to learn industry-specific software (NovaLCT, COEX VMP, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, “Can Do” attitude towards colleagues and external partners.
Preferred :
Direct LED Pixel repair experience
NovaStar NCE Certification a plus
Stage Lighting Repair Experience a plus
NetSuite experience a plus
Working Conditions :
This position reports to our Fort Lauderdale warehouse 5-days a week.
Warehouse environment requires frequent work in an unairconditioned environment.
Travel : =30% for tradeshows, on-site service calls, and high-level installation assistance.
