Director of Education - Early Learning Center
Location: North Oconee, Georgia, USA

Annual Salary: Starting at $55,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with education & experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Education to lead curriculum implementation, staff development, and instructional excellence across a growing preschool program. This role ensures that all classrooms provide developmentally appropriate, engaging learning experiences aligned with best practices in early childhood education. The Director of Education will collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to foster a cohesive and supportive environment for children, families, and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee curriculum fidelity and classroom execution of the Frog Street program
- Train, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff through classroom observations and coaching
- Plan and lead professional development, workshops, and in-service training
- Align lesson planning and assessment tools with child development milestones and educational standards
- Monitor classroom environments to support student engagement, behavior, and safety
- Facilitate family communication regarding child progress, curriculum, and goals
- Support accreditation and quality assurance standards (DECAL, NAEYC, Quality Rated, COGNIA)
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred
- 3 years of experience in early childhood curriculum implementation or classroom leadership
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or mentoring role within a licensed preschool
- Deep knowledge of ECE standards, teaching strategies, and assessment tools
- Experience working with licensing and quality agencies (DECAL, Quality Rated, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in educational software and documentation systems
