About Us:
Heather's Day Care (HDC) is a family-owned child care center in Ohio, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education since 2008. Our Montessori-inspired, play-based programs encourage creativity and foster a love for learning. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing engaging educational activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Support children's emotional and social growth through positive interactions.
- Adapt to various classroom settings as needed, ensuring consistent care and learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to build strong relationships and a supportive community.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with toddlers, including behavior management, curriculum planning, and classroom organization.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Ability to provide individualized support, including tutoring and early intervention when necessary.
- Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred.
