What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Mixer Drivers position at DW Dickey & Son, Inc.?
DW Dickey & Son, Inc., a family-owned ready mixed concrete and builder supply company, founded in 1948, is looking to add additional drivers to our existing team of dedicated employees.
Position Summary:
Concrete Mixer Drivers assure the safe and timely delivery of concrete and/or concrete building products to the customer. It is also the responsibility of the driver to care for and provide basic maintenance of the mixer truck, complete all necessary paperwork, assist with available work at the plant and maintain good public relations with customers.
Requirements:
· Operate mixer truck in all types of environments, including off road, on job sites
· Ability to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors
· Aptitude to read, write, and perform basic math
· Possess an up-to-date DOT physical and valid class A or B commercial driver’s license
· Ability to pass and maintain a federal DOT drug and alcohol screening
· Must maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and company policy
· Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures, including wearing of required safety equipment and clothing
Mixer experience preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.50 per hour
