Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients across various settings, with a focus on delivering compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret medical imaging results.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
  • Participate in infection control measures to ensure a safe healthcare environment.
  • Engage in utilization management to optimize resource use while maintaining quality care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
  • Experience in critical care, cardiac catheterization, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of neonatal ventilator management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with coding practices related to medical billing is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in infection control protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
