Project Manager Overview
As a Project Manager at DWC, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of our projects, from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction: Lead client meetings to define project scope, objectives, and expectations.
- Estimating: Prepare and refine preliminary and final budgets, evaluating subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
- Project Management: Oversee project contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Collaborate with the Superintendent and Director of Operations to create and maintain project schedules. Manage project financials to ensure it stays on budget, and coordinate client billing and invoicing.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to foster repeat business and long-term success.
- Site and Office Coordination: Split your time between office-based planning and on-site visits to ensure the project is progressing smoothly.
Project Manager Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience managing GC commercial projects or comparable internship experience required with construction degree preferred.
- A hardworking, self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the team’s success.
- Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects while consistently delivering quality results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop lasting relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
