Conceptual Design Staff

Description

Performs specific/limited portions of architectural design projects using prescribed methods. Under close guidance, works to prepare high quality presentations and other design materials. Requires limited judgment on work details. Assignments may include higher-level design work for training/development purposes. Has emerging design skills and proficiency in a variety of software, including SketchUp, Adobe Suite products, Lumion, and/or Enscape.

Requirements

• Have a good understanding of building codes of architectural building systems and zoning
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be detail oriented and flexible while working on multiple projects
• Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Revit, Sketchup, Lumion, or similar applications a plus
• 0-2 years of design experience in Multi-family, mixed-use projects
• Bachelor’s degree from a four or five-year accredited college or university
