Position Purpose
This exciting role, responsible for the strategic direction and commercial success of assigned products, is key to our product development efforts. We are looking for someone adept at understanding and articulating customer needs, market trends, new technologies, and competitive landscape to predict future demand and drive success of DWFritz products in the market.
Responsibilities
- Conducts customer, market, and technology research to construct product business cases and articulate product vision.
- Partners with Engineering to translate customer needs into technical requirements/specifications, develop a detailed product roadmap with phased deliverables and timing, and prioritize development deliverables.
- Collaborates with Sales to understand customer needs, establish the unique value the product offers to specific customers, and keep Sales team members continuously informed of product development progress and customer deliverables.
- Proactively manages risks and opportunities and regularly communicates to the business and the customer as needed.
- Provides "Voice of the Client" input to company's Management Team and preparing and maintaining product status reports to be delivered to the customer on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the product.
- Crafts go-to-market strategies and compelling product messaging.
- Proactively manages product risks and opportunities and regularly communicates to the business and the customer as needed.
- Works closely with the Service team to monitor customer feedback, resolve issues, and improve the overall user experience with the product.

Education and Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required for this position; additionally, a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable.
- Must possess a minimum of 10 years proven experience in product management leading clients and team members through large/complex technology implementations with high value capital equipment purchases in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with equipment design, development, manufacturing and installation is required.

Physical Demands
