Schedule - Work week is Monday - Friday
4 or 8 hours shifts
Available shifts are from 9AM to 5:30PM or from 1PM to 5:30PM
Schedule can be multiple half days or multiple full days per week as per your availability.
Ideal candidates that have thrived in this role are local (Long Island) college students studying business, technology, or something related where they are interested in learning and gaining hands on office / business experience.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Receiving Items from Suppliers, verify accuracy and properly label and stock out in warehouse.
Pick, Pack and Ship order to customers via UPS, Fedex, USPS, or Pallet using Shipstation software connected to our Order Management System
Physical Inventory cycle counts according to schedule and upon request from Purchasing/Management.
Scanning serial numbers and cycle counts of existing inventory to confirm stock locations.
Organized communication skills are critical.
Keep warehouse and work area clean according to DWG guidelines.
Place shipping materials orders with Uline (boxes, tape, packing material, etc.)
Process One off Ecommerce customer orders (charge credit cards, invoice the orders in Quickbooks and communicate with customers as needed)
Take out garbage from office areas and mop showroom, lunch room area and assembly areas weekly.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
Computer literacy and typing skills a must.
Must be eager to understand and learn, ask questions and invite feedback.
Ideal candidate will be able to help with processing orders, placing purchase orders and general customer service as well.
Must be hard working, able to work autonomously and a fast eager learner.

Some heavy lifting at times.
Able to work at a steady good pace, and able to turn that up, if need be, during order rushes.
Able to stay on task and self-delegate during proper times to get all tasks completed
Attention to detail is very important Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Proficiency in Excel MS Word, Outlook are important

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
