Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team in Savannah, GA. This position offers consistent weekly home time, early morning deliveries, and excellent pay with a $1000 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Haul 100% touch freight using rollers to unload box-by-box
- Physically unload freight at stores
Work Schedule:
The coverage area is primarily FL, GA, SC, and parts of AL. The schedule includes minimum weekly home time, with potential resets during deliveries. Most deliveries occur early in the morning, requiring drivers to arrive the night before or early morning to meet delivery schedules.
Training and Requirements:
Initial training will be provided in Savannah, GA upon hire. Drivers must have a minimum of 3 months of recent OTR or Regional driving experience in the last three years. A clean driving record is also required.
Compensation:
Weekly pay ranges from $1300 to $1500 for those running 3 loads and 1500 to 2000 miles per week. A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid out in two installments ($500 after the first load and $500 after 30 days) provided the driver remains active and seated.
Shift Details:
Early morning delivery schedules are required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Home time is guaranteed weekly, but not daily or every weekend.
