What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexographic Press Helper position at DWS Printing and Packaging?
SUMMARY:
DWS Printing & Packaging, a family owned - 5th Generation - leading label supplier, is currently seeking full-time Flexo Press Helper for 1st & 2nd shifts. Our Flexo Press Helper supports our lead pressmen.
POSITION TYPE:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (1st); 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (2nd).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Mount plates
- Organizes ink, substrates and laminations
- Change rolls of substrates
- Perform press wash-up and clean-up procedures
- Perform press maintenance
- Learns to run press for support during lunch breaks and shift changes
- No experience is required but slitting/rewinding experience is helpful
COMPETENCIES:
- Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team.
