Description
The Quality Technician will be required weekly to pull a random sample of TNC mag products based upon a predetermined rate per quantity delivered, perform a QC test on the random sample set, record the results of the tested products and communicate to various departments when units fail testing. Be able to access the local WMS and ERP systems to make entries and review product demands. These units will be stored in a segregated location that the Quality Technician will be required to cycle count on a weekly basis. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that enough new material inventory is produced on cover all future orders prior to the promise date.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull random sample product for QC mag testing
- Record the results of the testing and alert management of any failures
- Fill stock materials with a liquid chemical
- Record the reduction of the stock material used
- Record the increase of new material produced
- Cycle count the segregated inventory/location on a weekly basis
- Ensure enough new material is produced to cover all future customer orders

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have practical work experience with personal computers, especially word processing, database and spreadsheets. Familiarity with electronics is a plus.
- Must be organized and pay attention to detail.
- Must be capable of working independently with little direct supervision.
- Must display and maintain a positive attitude.
- Have the ability to follow instructions and work in production operations responsibly.
- Relevant experience in the calibration / manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
