Physical Aspects of the Job
Job responsibilities as follows:
- Incoming Inspections
- Processes First-Article & Incoming Inspections
- Logs records of inspection
- Monitors list of flagged parts requiring inspection
- RMAs
- Issuing and resolving RMAs, as needed
- Reporting on trends
- Control of Non-Conforming Material
- Logs and records nonconforming material transactions
- Works with Vendors to return product
- Reviews vendor performance and reports on trends
- Issues SCARs and follows up with Vendors for completion.
- Fixed Asset Program
- Calibration
- Managing the Calibration Schedule
- Ensuring assets are calibrated at set intervals
- Working with companies to setup calibration jobs (On site or offsite)
- Preventative Maintenance
- Managing the PM Schedule
- Ensuring tasks are done on time
- Manages the Electrostatic Discharge Program
- Updates equipment (as needed)
- Tests and verifies that equipment is functional
- Trains employees on the importance of ESD practices
- Vendor Evaluation/Reporting
- Work with Purchasing to provide vendor feedback on Nonconforming Material and/or reporting Vendor DPPM
- Report, as requested, to Management on Quality and any other outstanding issues
- Assist with the following processes:
- Conduct Internal Audits (Leading & Participation) and address findings where necessary
- Control of Documents; Updating & revising QMS Documentation
- Corrective Actions: Issuing, Root Cause Analysis, and Closure
- Participate and represent Quality in the CCB (Change Control Board) ECR/ECO discussions. Follow through with any Quality related tasks for closure.
- Perform data analysis related to Quality Metrics and Objectives, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of the Job
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Some lifting required (up to 60lbs).
- Some travel required.
- Able to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong team member.
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change.
- Strong ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office Required).
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Electronics, or Operations related field preferred; Associate’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Work experience of 1 -3 years in an ISO certified manufacturing facility preferred.
