Key Responsibilities:Database Management:
- Accurately enter and update donor gifts in CRM/Salesforce
- Maintain clean and organized donor records, mailing lists, and moves management documentation.
- Run data analysis reports on grant and donor activity. Provide recommendations based on findings.
- Conduct grant research and maintain a detailed tracking and reporting system.
- Provide fiscal support for grants and related contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Support grant functions including application preparation, data collection for reporting, maintain reporting schedules, and prepare supporting documentation.
- Prepare and send donor acknowledgment letters promptly.
- Support donor stewardship efforts by tracking activities and documenting outcomes.
- Coordinate direct mail campaigns, including list generation and tracking.
- Assist with email and printed communication initiatives.
- Provide logistical and onsite support for development events.
- Assist in planning and executing donor engagement activities.
- Prepare detailed donor and board prospect research profiles.
- Conduct grant research to identify new funding sources.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on donor activities, campaigns, and expenses.
- Track fund and expense data to support budgeting and projections.
Experience: At least 3 years in a nonprofit professional setting, with a focus on development or fundraising.
Skills:
- Experience in database management or CRM platforms Salesforce preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Polite persistence in followups with donors and partners.
- Basic understanding of fund and expense tracking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email marketing platforms, and other donor engagement tools.
- Highly organized and detailoriented.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
