What are the responsibilities and job description for the OPE Data Specialist position at DX1 Platform?
The Role of OPE Data Specialist will:
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with OEMs and parts distributors in the OPE industry and beyond
- Act as a primary point of contact for OPE and OEM partners, providing timely and effective communication on behalf of the business
- Manage the effective and timely delivery of data working with our internal teams to ensure that data is digestible
- Identify and pursue new OPE and OEM and parts distributor data opportunities, expanding the company's market reach and customer base
- Product Knowledge and Support:
- Possess an understanding of the OPE products and general industry knowledge
- Provide support and product information to OEM partners, ensuring they have the resources needed for successful integration and partnerships
- Collaborate with support, data and product development teams to address OEM-specific requirements and challenges.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., data, product) to provide seamless integration and support.
- Manage OPE OEM projects and programs, tracking progress and addressing potential issues.
The Successful OPE Relationship Manager Will Have:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks based on specific requests and industry releases
- Respond to questions and resolve issues received from various teams and managers
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently; clear and committed decision making with a focus on driving results
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and parts distributors
- Ability to interact and work well within a cross-team environment
Ability to think ahead to forecast issues and market changes, and to resolve challenges with the business, teams, vendors, partners, and Product Managers
Additional Requirements:
Outdoor Power Equipment and Powersports experience preferred
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
- 1-3 years experience in customer service, data entry and/or data management
Any database experience would be a plus
