What are the responsibilities and job description for the Informatica Administrator position at DXC Technology?
Job Description :
Resource must have 8 years of Informatica Admin experience in Linux platforms.
- Installation & Configuration Informatica PC : Install and configure Informatica PowerCenter, Repository Service, and Integration Service.
- Performance Tuning : Monitor and tune the performance of Informatica jobs, workflows, and mappings for optimal efficiency.
- Migration & Upgrades : Manage version upgrades, migration of workflows and mappings between environments (Development, QA, Production).
- User Management : Create and manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within Informatica.
- Backup & Recovery : Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Informatica repositories and configurations.
- Monitoring & Support : Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for Informatica-related queries.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Collaboration : Work closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts to ensure alignment and support for data integration initiatives.
- Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with organizational policies regarding data governance.
- Good to have scripting Knowledge.
- Good to have cloud experience.
