Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate each guest's needs, preferences, and lifestyle by engaging in meaningful conversations and providing personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the store meets sales targets, while maintaining high standards of customer service, inventory management, expense control, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as a product expert, effectively selling and marketing a diverse range of apparel, including private labels, name brands, and tailored clothing.
- Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance the skills and behaviors of the sales team, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in an Assistant Store Manager role.
- Two years of supervisory experience are required.
- Previous involvement in commission-based environments is highly valued.
- Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations for training and support purposes.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.40 to $18.80 per hour, plus a commission rate between 1.5% and 6% based on personal sales performance. Additionally, associates are eligible for a quarterly bonus based on store sales performance.
