Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Shreveport, LA.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Review of project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements, feasibility, and procedures for accomplishing each project
- Create and or review engineering drawings including centrifugal pump component design
- Position will share existing engineer department drafting resources
- Specification and purchase of engineered equipment
- Create shop routings which detail the procedures and tasks that must be accomplished to complete each project
- Manage the project timeline to meet required delivery schedules
- Issue required customer documentation.
- 2-4 year's experience in manufacturing/design, SolidWorks skills, and a desire for being hands on
- Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems
- Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Project Management experience and team work skills
- Experience reading centrifugal pump component designs
- Must be able to work independently
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Must have excellent writing and verbal communication and problem solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
- Great leadership abilities are essential while at the same time being a team player
