Currently seeking an Instrument Fitter and Tube Bender to join our Houston, TX (Hobby Airport) location.
Responsibilities of the Instrument Fitter and Tube Bender include but are not limited to :
- Lays out all types of tubing, fittings, Interprets drawings and sketches. Plans details of working procedure and selects materials in accordance with the needs of work to be done.
- Lays out work; calculates dimensions and angles of bends.
- Set up and operate bending, threading, and cutoff equipment, use hand tools, and prepare and fabricate tubing.
- Tests, inspects installs any type of high or low-pressure tubing, fittings, fixtures, and parts for installation.
- Assemble hangers and supports.
- Install motors, pumps, seal flush systems on skids
- Cleans all work areas
- Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Performs all work safely and efficiently and keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Willing to work with the electrical crew and other trades as job requires.

Additional Information :
Physical requirements : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Work Environment : Shop environment with exposure to weather, noise, debris, dirt, heavy lifting. Must have own tools and steel toe boots!
Work shift : Monday through Friday 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30pm with some overtime and weekends (Required)

Education High School or GED or equivalent work experience
