What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Supervisor position at DXP Enterprises?
Responsibilities of the Site Safety Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a safe work environment while working for customers
- Site safety supervision
- Site safety inspection
- Prepare site safety audits
- Occasionally fill in in shop or with safety trailer deliveries when needed.
Qualifications of the Site Safety Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Confined space
- OSHA 30
- Construction experience with trenching and excavation
- Hot work
- Multi-gas monitors
- All aspects of job safety
- Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
- All "New Hires" are subject to a 90-day evaluation period
Additional Information:
Physical Demand: Lifting 50 lbs.
Working Conditions: All weather, some long hours
Training/Certifications: OSHA 30 in construction. Other training provided
Shift Time/Overtime: Daytime hours . Some overtime.
Travel: up to 300 miles. Some over nights required. Must have clear driving record according to company guidelines
Education: High School diploma required
