Currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our 529 Katy, TX location.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Review of project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements, feasibility, and procedures for accomplishing each project
- Create and or review engineering drawings including general arrangements, fabrication drawings, etc.
- Position will share existing engineer department drafting resources.
- Review specifications of engineered equipment
- Manage the project timeline to meet required delivery schedules.
- Assist project manager with required customer documentation.

Qualifications of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Previous SolidWorks experience and a desire for being hands on
- 2-5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems
- Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Project Management experience and team work skills
- Experience reading pressure and instrumentation diagrams
- Must be able to work independently
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Must have excellent writing and verbal communication and problem solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
- Great leadership abilities are essential while at the same time being a team player
